ELAINE
I didn't plan to speak today, but someone reminded me what really matters, not by shouting, not by demanding, just by noticing. Noticing what we've stopped seeing, what we've started ignoring. I grew up in a world of production, of numbers, of growth at any cost. My father owns one of the largest factories in the city, and today he agreed it's time for that to change, because change begins when we remember that we are part of something bigger: a city, a place, a planet. And maybe if we start listening again, more of us will remember what we've quietly lost and what's still worth saving.
